Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Social Worker to support students in grades 35 for the 20252026 school year in Mundelein, IL. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on serving students with IEPs across a variety of settings, including general education resource rooms and self-contained classrooms.
Caseload Details:

Approx. 4045 students

Primarily students with IEPs

Collaboration with a full-time school counselor

Diverse needs, including social-emotional support, behavioral interventions, and resource coordination
Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect social-emotional services to students

Participate in IEP meetings, complete social developmental studies, and contribute to student support plans

Collaborate with teachers, families, and the school counselor to promote student well-being

Support positive behavior strategies and crisis interventions as needed
Requirements:

Valid Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Social Worker Endorsement

Experience working with elementary-aged students and IEP teams preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
